Following its successful debut in 2010 with the work of 200 artists in exhibit, Doors Art Fair is presenting its second edition from November
25 through November 27, at Imperial Palace Hotel, Seoul.

Doors Art Fair aims to be a passageway of diversifying the art market and embracing more artists to be valued in contemporary art.
Advancing the history of art and promoting innovative movements and trends in contemporary art, Doors Art Fair aspires to set a new
platform for promising artists who look to communicate to the world through their innate sensibilities and open imaginations. Ultimately,
Doors Art Fair would like to be a door in accordance with the progress of contemporary art and its continuous history.

Doors Art Fair proudly presents established and emerging galleries that have forged open and honest relationships with the ambitious
contemporary art of high-caliber creators. 35 galleries from 5 countries will exhibit at Doors Art Fair 2011.

Special Exhibitions and Programs:
In Fair Sponsor’s Exhibition, Samsonite Korea will support the work of three emerging and mid-career artists, Minjeong Kim (video
installation), Myungsu Ham (painting) and Chongwoon Choi (sculpture).

Fortune Cookies Project guided by artist Jihay Kang is specially designed for children to create messages of hope and cheer. Making
a fortune cookie using soft and colorful foam rubber and putting a message in it, each participating child will be part of the creation of a
larger art piece. The final artwork will be donated to help less fortunate children share the hopes written within.

Dongbang Yogoi-On the Doors is curated by the monthly art magazine, art in culture and features 6 selected artists from the magazine’s
ongoing program Dongbang Yogoi that has the aim of introducing young and emerging Korean artists. It features the work of Chunmuni,
Myoungeun Ha, Daehwan Kim, Sangwon Kwak, Gicheol Shin and Song Song.

An alternative educational institution established by critic Jinsup Yoon, The International University in Imagination (I.U.I) will present
a selection of artwork by its members. Its goal is based on the peaceful and happy coexistence of human beings through the creative
development of humankind's infinite power of imagination. The institution will not only pursue friendships between members but through
diverse on and offline activities. Its members are comprised of a number of specialists, artists, business people, educators, scholars, etc.
from around the world, building a facebook network within. The constant underlying theme is the coexistence of human beings and nature
as part of a global ecosystem.
